BLOG: CleanRoom

There are numerous sensitive products which have to be manufactured in specific conditions. The environmental interruptions from ambiance like dust, humidity, and temperature can contaminate the product being made, and thus the quality and functionality. Therefore, industries are resorting to installing cleanrooms in their production plants.

So what is the cleanroom?

A cleanroom is like an industrial laboratory that is used to manufacture sensitive products like industrial glass, pharmaceutical items, and microprocessors or to do scientific research. These rooms maintain deficient levels of dust, bacteria, and vaporized particles present in the air. They are usually identified by a cleanliness level which determines the number of allowed particles at per cubic meter of the room.

In FORTES interactive, we have an ISO 7 cleanroom with Anti-static floor and walls. This cleanroom is also equipped with an electronically interlocked cargo air shower installed on its entrance, which prevents the ambient air from contamination the cleanroom. There is also a particular corner in the cleanroom following ISO 5 requirements called Laminar Air Flow Clean Bench. It has an ara with a relative of cleanliness and has a per-efficient air filtering unit installed with it.

What is Cleanroom good for at touch technology industry?

Our cleanroom was designed to facilitate our glass production since it is required for the air bonding process, which connects (attach) touch glass with the screen. This specific arrangement provides us with an adequate environment that is dust-free, humid, and temperature are on the optimal level — all in all, feasible for glass production.

Besides the production of touch components, we also offer additional services like lamination of the touch-foil. The whole process is contingent on a dust-free environment provided by our cleanroom. The single dust particle fallen on the substrate during lamination can cause imperfect functionality of the final product.
